PS5 Controller Emerges As the Ultimate Choice for Skate Players

There are hundreds of games to play. In fact, players are willing to try new games as well. Is there a particular way to play a game? Well, this is the most sought question asked by most people.

But the fact is that there is no particular way to playing a game. Still, there are some strategies or tactics to play a game. In this article, I will be going to tell you the exact way to play the new Skate.

When we talk about playing Skate video game, players often get excited. And when you are going to witness the Skate first season in October, it is natural that players would get excited. To know about the game is available for you shortly, players across the globe are willing to hit across Xbox, PS5, and PC.

While players are busy playing some other games as well, they are busy to meet with with challenges, and other hinderences.

I recently got a chance to play Skate for more thaqn 50 hours throughout the pre-alpha. The peculiare thing here is that I tried playing the game entirely using my Xbox controller linked to my PC. As the game has been approved to be available on different consoles, I even tried installing it on PS5 to make it easier for me.

But somewhere down the line, I knew that I have been missing something. After someone suggested me to link a Dualsense to PC, especially for Skate, I have every reason to grab PS5 controller for Skate.

The DualSense Controller Brings Next-Level Feel to Skate

Whenever I try to play the game with my PS5’s DualSense controller, I get overwhelmed as Astro Bot happens to be the smart choice on every such occasion. It’s mainly because Skate has been designed in such a way to come up with different features of controller.

The game offers the availability of various type of guns ready with different travel on triggers. If you have to talk about this in one line, I would say DualSense happens to be my all time favorite controller.

When I tried to play Skate for the first time, it was such a wonderful experience using DualSense. And I hope other players might also have experienced the same. I was so amazed after using DualSense that it changed everything for me.

And I was not expecting this to happen. Very soon, I started getting the feeling of skateboard wheels. It also included the texture of rough roads along with the presence of a bump on rough roads.

I also experienced the fact that even the smoothest roads had a little bit of friction which gave me a feeling of running my hand along the ground.

Another feature that I came across was Xbox controller having vibration. But it didn’t last long. Later, things cleared for me when I came to know that vibrations were basically meant for clearing things. They were mainly for making impacts, pushing, along with powerslides.

The game offers internal feeling of satisfaction which is different for people. For example, you might not find the need of vibrations and even like to turn them off. But when you play the game using PS5 controller, you get an entirely different approach altogether by enhancing your overall experience.

PS5 Controller’s DualSense Complements Skate’s Audio for Full Immersion

Another thing that I liked about Skate is its design. Once you start skating through the streets, I suggest you to simply turn off the music of your board and turn up the volume. This way, you would simply come across to the SFX of the board. The game gives me a feeling of skating every other surface that I hit.

As I mentioned above, the PS5 controller offers haptic feedback which is known to sync with the design of your sound. It actually gives you a feeling of the noise of every bump that you simply hear. In the same way, you are bound to get every sensation with any rough texture that you scrape.

The situation changes when I prefer to play it using Xbox controller. It simply gives me a reminder that something is not working well. I must admit herethat Skate is such a game that gives you a light feeling even though you tend to make the same sound design intact.

Finally, I got an idea of plugging back DualSense into PC. With these settings on, I tried to mamke sure to playing skate along other cobbled pavements.

If you also try to play Skate, you would like to go with different drains, textures, and more. Although, the every minute detail I mentioed here doesn’t look quite significant, I would still like you to try the game with any other controller.
