Assassin’s Creed Shadows Isu door

It all happened on March 20, 2025 when Ubisoft Quebec released Assassin’s Creed Shadows on different platforms. The game has since then managed to attract the gamers.

It’s developed by Ubisoft Quebec and published by the popular Ubisoft. Being a real-time gamer, you might be aware that the Assassin’s Creed Shadows happens to be the 14th installment in the entire Assassin’s Creed series.

Since its inception, it has been a source of excitement for hundreds of players who simply love this action adventure game.

Now, the latest update about the game is that it has recently released an update regarding its title. To be precise, Assassin’s Creed Shadows Title Update 1.1.6 has now been out.

With the announcement, it may bring an Attack on Titan crossover. If you are unaware about the introduction of Isu, then please note that Assassin’s Creed veterans will know the Isu as a legendary precursor whose existence is central to the saga’s entire shared storyline.

Well, as part of its ongoing updates, Shadows has rolled out “A Puzzlement” as its 3rd additional story mission.

Though Ubisoft promotes the update as a quirky, comedic adventure, the quest itself holds more nuance than what the tagline actually indicates.

As they explore South Wakasa, Yasuke and Naoe happen upon two known figures embroiled in a loud and extensive debate regarding a mysterious door.

Well, if you look in the blurb, it’s clearly mentioned that they rely on our protagonists to figure out the mechanism to open it. For those who remember, these 2 acquaintances are the same poacher duo from the game’s initial sequence.

A big part of the quest’s charm is seeing both Yasuke and Naoe struggle to mirror one another. While Naoe simply trains to execute Yasuke’s dramatic combat kick, Yasuke later comes to know the subtle stealth skills of the Shinobi.

It finally happens that the duo comes to know about the door in question that hides an Isu vault without any doubt.

Microtransaction Earnings Set to Back Upcoming Post-Launch Expansions

Assassin’s Creed Shadows

It all happened when Associate game director Simon Lemay-Comtois clarified during Across the AnimusIGN caught the quote—“Don’t expect this to turn into a massive Isu temple or an epic two-hour storyline.”

In his interview, he further clarified that they are actually not going for it. He said it’s just a vault that needs to open at any cost. And it largely includes some fun bonuses and interesting revelations.

It’s worth mentioning that the base version of Shadows is noteworthy mainly because it entirely evades the Isu, unlike most other Assassin’s Creed games. Given that Assassin’s Creed’s narrative has always woven in mythological concepts, Shadows’ choice to omit them entirely, until the above update was being unexpected.

“Even with all the complaints regarding microtransactions, they actually give us the kind of resources to produce Isu content, story quests, parkour improvements, and more,” he stated.

Lemay-Comtois further indicated that their decision to include the Isu is not happenning right now as it was a post launch option. He joked and stated that he’s putting Isu into the game as if nobody is looking.

Now, we’re left asking two things here: why the mythical race was missing in Shadows, and what’s inside that enigmatic cave?
