As per reports, Rockstar Games are being accused of terminating as many as 30 of their employees from their offices located in Canada and UK. But the comapny has now come forward in this regard and denied allegations.
The parent company Take-Two has come in support to allege that terminations happened mainly because of their improper behaviour. However, the above statement released is still disputed by IWGB that gives clarification stating that they were terminated mainly because of their involement in union activity
In its latest report, Grand Theft Auto (GTA 6) has stated that allegations of terminating as many as 30 employees from its two offices are completely false.
The clarification from the company came after the gaming studio was alleged to have expelled employees from its Canada and UK offices. The parent company of Rockstar Take-two further clarified the issue where they stated that it all happened mainly diue to their misconduct.
Earlier, the charges were levelled by Union of Great Britain (IWGB), which is an independent workers union.
The issue ignited after Alex Marshall, IWGB president claimed that the company has expelled employees which has been a ruthless act of union busting. And this has never happened in the gaming industry.
He further claimed that the actions of Rockstar is nothing but contempt of the law along with the lives of loads of their employees who sim-ply bring in their billions. But the company kept maintaining that firing of employees is nothing to do with union activity.

Lastly, IWGB president Marshall further clarified that employees who were forced to terminate from Rockstar belonged to a Discord trade union who were mainly planning to join IWGB. Please note that Rockstar is a renowned gaming company based in New York (NY) with its largest office located in Edinburgh, Scotland.
The well known studeio named Red Dead Redemption series and Grand Theft Auto is currently busy focussing Redemption series is known to release GTA 6, which is reported to get released not earlier than May 2026. It has already been delayed for over an year.
